The synopsis of “007 – No Time to Die” describes James Bond (Daniel Craig) living quietly in Jamaica after leaving active duty. But his peace quickly ends when his old friend Felix Leiter (Jeffrey Wright) from the CIA asks for his help. The mission, the rescue of a kidnapped scientist, proves far more dangerous than expected, leading Bond to the path of a mysterious villain (Rami Malek) armed with dangerous new technology.
Other familiar faces from the franchise are back in the cast, such as Christoph Waltz as Blofeld; Léa Seydoux as Madeleine; Ben Whishaw as Q.; Ralph Fiennes as M.; Naomie Harris as Moneypenny and Rory Kinnear as Tanner. New arrivals include Ana de Armas, Lashana Lynch, Billy Magnussen, Dali Benssalah, and David Dencik.
Cary Joji Fukunaga (from the “Maniac” series ) is the director. The screenplay is written by Fukunaga, Neal Purvis, and Robert Wade, who wrote all the 007 films starring Daniel Craig and Phoebe Waller-Bridge (from the “Fleabag” series ).
