Suicide Squad finally debuted, and we all found that it was everything we had been promised and more. It’s one of the best DC Comics and Warner Bros movies, which is partly due to director James Gunn’s work. In the film starring Harley Quinn and Bloodsport, there are many masters eggs about the DCEU, but did you know that a “cameo” to Marvel also appeared?
Like many directors, James Gunn has actors who like to include in every project he works on. In The Suicide Squad, a Guardian of the Galaxy appeared a film with which many superhero fans met the director.
Halfway through Suicide Squad, the team has to capture The Thinker in a nightclub. One of the dancers shown in the foreground is the actress Pom Klementieff who played Mantis in Guardians of the Galaxy 2 and Avengers: Infinity War.
Pom Klementieff was the surprise “cameo” that James Gunn announced in The Suicide Squad. In addition to her, other actors who have worked with the director on Guardians of the Galaxy are Sylvester Stallone (voice of King Shark), who played Stakar Ogordo, Sean Gunn (model for The Weasel) appeared in Marvel as Kraglin. Finally, Michael Rooker (Savant) was Yondu, Starlord’s adoptive father.
