As we already knew, a spin-off of A Quiet Place will arrive in 2023.
Which will be directed by Michael Sarnoski , director of Pig (who replaced Jeff Nichols ). And now we know what it’s going to be called and what it’s going to be about: the film will be a prequel titled A Quiet Place: Day One . It is easy to imagine what the plot will be.
The announcement was made during the Paramount panel at CinemaCon , where the title of Mission: Impossible 7 was also revealed . The title was shown during a sizzle reel of the study.
Obviously the details are secret, but the title suggests that the film will tell the first days of the alien invasion, shown in part in the prologue of A Quiet Place II .
The project is not to be confused with A Quiet Place III, which will arrive in 2025.
The spin-off was born from an original idea by John Krasinski , and obviously will be set in the same context as the main saga. There are no details about it, so we don’t know what it’s going to be about. For its part, A Quiet Place Part III is expected to be a direct sequel to the second chapter, and is likely to continue the adventures of Evelyn ( Emily Blunt ), Regan ( Millicent Simmonds ), Marcus ( Noah Jupe ) and his newborn brother. There is no confirmation of their return, but it seems likely. The group was also joined by Emmett , played by Cillian Murphy .
