Netflix has announced that the third season of After Life will be released on January 14th on the online platform, and it will also be the last.
We can therefore imagine that Ricky Gervais – screenwriter, director and protagonist of the series – was able to close the story as he wished, or at least to give it an appropriate conclusion. For the occasion, a poster has been released that portrays Tony with his beloved dog Brandy . The tagline reads “Every ending is a new beginning” .

The synopsis of season 2
In the 6 new episodes Tony, while still grieving the loss of his wife, tries to make friends with the people around him. The problems of the inhabitants of the city increase with the threat of the impending closure of the local newspaper.

The synopsis of the series

After Life , consisting of 6 episodes lasting 30 minutes each, is created and directed by Ricky Gervais, the undisputed star of the series. Best known on television for his background on The Office, the British comedy that inspired the hugely successful US adaptation of the same name, Gervais will also executive produce After Life alongside Duncan Hayes. The series is produced by Charlie Hanson.
