The Star Wars series starring Rosario Dawson , but, so far, it hasn’t been officially revealed what her role will be. Now Bespin Bulletin reveals that the actress could play Hera Syndulla , a character from the animated series Star Wars: Rebels .

Hera (whose presence was practically confirmed by the description of the footage shown at the Star Wars Celebration) will not be the only Rebels character to appear in a live-action version in the series: we know that we will also see Sabine Wren , played by Natasha Liu Bordizzo , and Ezra Bridger , played by Eman Esfandi . Also expected to appear is Grand Admiral Thrawn , and it seems that he will be played by Lars Mikkelsen .

In Rebels , Hera was voiced by Vanessa Marshall . Mary Elizabeth Winstead already has a link with the Star Wars saga , in a certain sense: her husband is in fact Ewan McGregor, who played Obi-Wan Kenobi in the prequels and in the recent Disney + series.

The cast

The cast also includes Ivanna Sakhno, Ray Stevenson, Matthew Law  and Hayden Christensen .

Anakin Skywalker and Ahsoka Tano

The stories of Anakin Skywalker and Ahsoka Tano are closely related. The latter was in fact the Padawan pupil of the future Darth Vader at the dawn of the Clone Wars , but Anakin ‘s passage to the Dark Side led them to opposing factions. The two battled it out in Star Wars Rebels , and Ahsoka apparently died in the confrontation. Hayden Christensen will reprise their roles of Anakin and Darth Vader in the series.

The author

Dave Filoni , director and writer of Clone Wars , is writing the series. Filoni is very involved in these live-action shows: he has already worked on The Mandalorian and The Book of Boba Fett .
