Amazon hopes to have “faster delivery than ever”

Amazon ‘s new head of retail  also wants to cut costs.

Amazon , the e-commerce giant, is renowned for its efficiency.

However, the COVID-19 pandemic has slightly delayed their delivery times. Something that his leadership seeks to reverse.

Leaked audio reveals the ambitions of Doug Harrington, who recently took over as CEO of Amazon ‘s retail business .

“This is going to be a year of firsts for us… We are going to lower the cost to serve more (customers) this year than ever before, and we are going to get products to customers faster than ever before,” Harrington said.

The recording was made during an internal meeting and was obtained by Insider .
