Amazon just updated its cheap Fire 7 tablet with two new models: Standard and Kids.

Both 7-inch tablets have twice the RAM of previous editions and 40% more autonomy (up to 10 hours of continuous use), says Amazon .

This standard model has 16GB of storage and 2GB of RAM. Nothing impressive, but tentative for its low price.

Amazon has incorporated two 2MP cameras for video calls with maximum quality of 720P (HD).

And the Fire 7 Kids?

It comes in a special “kid-proof” case, a two-year “worry-free” warranty, and a one-year subscription to Amazon Kids+ , a service with videos, educational content, and games designed for kids.

The Fire 7 Kids will pre-order for $109.90 in its 16GB option.

Both Amazon tablets can expand their storage with microSD memory up to 1TB and come with a 5W charger.
