AMD has already set a date for the presentation of its new generation of Ryzen 7000 processors .

In a press release, the American company indicated that it will transmit “together we advance_PCs” (together we advance PCs) on August 29.

AMD CEO Lisa Su will be accompanied by several executives to show the progress made in Zen 4 , the new architecture of the Ryzen 7000 .

The event will take place at 7:00 p.m. (6:00 p.m. Peruvian time) and can be seen on AMD ‘s YouTube channel .

What news will the Ryzen 7000 bring?

AMD will make a socket change after using AM4 since Ryzen’s release in late 2016.

Processors for socket AM5 will no longer have pins, which will now be on the boards, as is the case with Intel chips .

This will mean a forced board change to migrate to AM5 , although AMD will maintain compatibility with the cooling solutions used in AM4 .

AMD has thought of its new generation of processors around new standards such as DDR5 RAM and PCIe Gen 5 .

During her presentation at Computex 2022 , Lisa Su teased that CPUs under the Zen 4 architecture are built on TSMC’s 5-nanometer process.

AMD announced that the Ryzen 7000 processors reach 5.5GHz.

Another interesting detail is the inclusion of RDNA 2 graphics in the processors, something that we found in only some AMD models .
