As we know, Taylor Kitsch will star in American Primeval .
A Netflix western series directed by Peter Berg . Now, Netflix has found the rest of the actors who will join Kitsch in the series.
These are Betty Gilpin ( GLOW ), Dane DeHaan ( soon in Oppenheimer ), Shea Whigham ( Joker ), Joe Tippett ( Homicide in Easttown ), Jai Courtney ( Kaleidoscope ), Kyle Bradley Davis ( American Horror Story ), Nick Hargrove( Devotion ), Derek Hinkey ( Walker Independence ), Saura Lightfoot Leon ( Masters of the Air ), Preston Mota ( Asteroid City ), and Shawnee Pourier ( Stranger Things ).
American Primeval is described as “an exploration of the birth of the American West.” At the center is a violent clash between cultures, religions and communities and the stories of men and women who fight and die for control of this new world, and for a land they truly believe is their destiny. Kitsch will play Isaac, a traumatized man struggling to keep his demons at bay and find a reason to live in this brutal world.

Here’s who the new actors will play:
- Betty Gilpin will play Sara Rowell, a fiercely independent woman whose composure and grace make her seem out of place at Fort Bridger, where she’s looking for a guide to escort her and her son Devin across the border.
- Dane DeHaan will play Jacob Pratt, a Mormon who is crossing the border with his family to join other settlers in Utah.
- Shea Whigham will play Jim Bridger, a good if cynical man who owns his eponymous fort, a popular hangout for settlers and trappers.
- Joe Tippett will play James Wolsey, a Mormon who leads a militia of men who don’t possess the moral code they claim to have.
- Jai Courtney will play Virgil Cutter, a trapper and bounty hunter who sees opportunity in the naivety of others.
- Kyle Bradley Davis will play Tilly, one of Cutter’s trappers. A mean and dangerous man who doesn’t mind killing and enjoys being feared by others.
- Nick Hargrove will play Cottrell, a guy who works at Fort Bridger and is Jim Bridger’s right hand man.
- Derek Hinkey will play Red Feather, leader of a group of renegade Crow warriors known as the Wolf Clan.
- Saura Lightfoot Leon will play Abish, a Mormon who is content to be seen as the property of her husband, Jacob.
- Preston Mota will play Devin Rowell, a sensitive soul with an inquisitive mind, son of Sara.
- Shawnee Pourier will play Two Moons, a girl who flees her village, determined to survive at any cost.
Berg will direct all episodes and serve as an executive producer for Film 44. American Primeval was created by Eric Newman ( The Watcher ) and Mark L. Smith ( Revenant ), who also executive produce.
