A spin-off of John Wick that joins the other project of the same genre, the series The Continental .

It is clear that the studio aims to expand the narrative universe of the main saga.

The Cuban actress was appreciated a few months ago in No Time to Die , where she demonstrated that she can handle action roles well.

She is also known for Knock Knock, Blade Runner 2049, Wasp Network, Cena con delitto and the very recent Deep Waters , to name a few. Ana de Armas ‘ upcoming projects also include The Gray Man and Blonde .

Shooting on Ballerina will begin this summer. The plot will revolve around a young killer who seeks revenge for the killing of her family. The concept of a double identity dancer / killer was introduced in John Wick 3: Parabellum , where we saw some dancers trained to become murderers by the Director ( Anjelica Huston ), leader of the criminal organization Ruska Roma . The script is the work of Shay Hatten , writer of John Wick 3 and Army of the Dead . The director will be Len Wiseman , the same as Underworld ,Die Hard – Live or Die and Total Recall . It seems that the budget will be between 50 and 60 million dollars.

We will keep you posted.

John Wick’s future

The invincible hitman will return in John Wick: Chapter 4 , after the excellent success of the third chapter (323 million dollars grossed worldwide). The Continental series will instead be a prequel centered on Winston , set in the 1970s.
