Apple already has iOS 16 ready: it will come out with the iPhone 14 and a new Apple Watch

The iPhone 14 is expected to be presented on September 7 and will start selling on the 16th of the same month.

iOS 16 , the new version of the operating system for iPhones , is now complete and ready for release, Bloomberg reports .

Apple engineers finished work on the operating system last week, says Mark Gurman in his Power Up newsletter.

The update for iOS 16 should arrive together with watchOS 9 , accompanied by the iPhone 14 and the Apple Watch Series 8 .

When will the iPhone 14 be presented?

Apple ‘s event to introduce the new iPhones is expected to take place on September 7. The iPhone 14 would officially go on sale on September 16.

Apple ‘s offer would change, with the iPhone mini model disappearing in favor of an iPhone Max .

Apple will stop giving updates to five cell phones with the arrival of iOS 16: iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus, iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus and iPhone SE (2016).

Owners of iPhone 8 and up will get iOS 16 .
