It is not a secret that Apple has not changed the design of its cell phones much since the iPhone 11 launched in 2019.

The 2023 could mark a real change in the design of the iPhone , beyond the goodbye to the “notch” or notch that we saw in its most expensive models this year.

Ming-Chi Kuo, one of the most respected analysts when it comes to Apple and its new products, believes that the physical buttons will disappear in the next iPhone .

The specialist indicates that the new iPhone 15 to be presented in the second half of 2023 would have a variation in their “high-end” models, which would be the Pro variants.

Based on information collected from component manufacturers, Ming-Chi Kuo anticipates that Apple will change the physical power and volume buttons for three buttons activated by haptic motors (Taptic Engine), similar to those used in the iPhone 8 Home .

Apple would thus equip the iPhone 15 Pro with three vibration motors to provide the necessary feedback to the user, saying goodbye to physical buttons.

The change of phones would also reach Android

Ming-Chi Kuo indicates that the goodbye to physical buttons will also come to Android .

As he indicated, he hopes that high-end Android phones “also follow Apple’s design to create new points of sale.”
