The iPhone 14 family could have more differences between its models that will now involve the internal chip.
The differences between the different models of the same iPhone family used to be limited to size and cameras, but now, in 2022, something else can be added: power.
According to analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, the iPhone Pro will now have a more powerful chip than its standard siblings, in a formula that is expected to arrive annually in each company announcement.
The iPhone Pro increasingly Pro
According to the rumor, the iPhone 14 that will go on sale this year will have an A15 chip that the iPhone 13 already has.
However, the iPhone 14 Pro (including the Max) would carry this year’s A16 chips, giving it, in addition to a better camera configuration and size, also more power.
This fact, says the analyst, makes it possible to lower the cost of manufacturing the standard models and would increase the demand for the Pro, which in turn would also pave the way for a better second-hand market than the traditional ones.
If this is a confirmed fact, it will be the first time that Apple has followed this path since the arrival of the company’s A processors.
What else do we know about the iPhone 14?
This 2022, Apple is expected to launch four iPhone 14 models , including the Plus, which would replace the iPhone 14 Max.
According to rumors, the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max would finally leave the notch, but will present two holes on the screen for the camera and Face ID sensors.
The cameras are expected to take a leap in quality, especially on the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max models. Of course, they would be the last to maintain a Lightning charging port .
