What do we expect from the Apple Watch Series 8?
The rumors around the new version of the Apple Watch pointed to a design with much flatter edges, following the design line of recent Apple products such as the iPhone 13 line .
However, leaker ShrimpApplePro indicated that there won’t be many changes to the design of the Apple Watch Series 8 .
“Design: Sadly same as Apple Watch Series 7 with no improvements,” he wrote in his “leaksletter.”
The change would be in the materials with aluminum and stainless steel depending on the color of the Apple Watch Series 8 . Also the screen would be flatter.
Users who use cases would have good news with 41mm and 45mm models that are compatible with previous Apple Watch models .
A new sensor in the Apple Watch Series 8…deactivated?
The well-known analyst Ming-Chi Kuo indicated that the new Apple Watch Series 8 will include a new body temperature sensor, although there is something curious about it.
As indicated, the Apple Watch Series 7 had to include a temperature sensor, but Apple changed its plans by not getting it to work optimally. The Apple Watch Series 8 could already include this sensor and provide this data or it could arrive with the sensor disabled while waiting for a software update .
An Apple Watch Pro?
Mark Gurman of Bloomberg has indicated that Apple is working on an Apple Watch aimed at adventurers and fans of extreme sports, something like the Galaxy Watch Pro that Samsung recently introduced.
The Apple Watch Series 3 is left without an update
Apple still sells the Apple Watch Series 3 through its official channels and distributors, but the smartwatch will no longer have a new version of WatchOS .
WatchOS 9 will be available for Apple Watch Series 4 and later.
