Apple, Xiaomi and Google at the center of the September launches

The new version of Android, the next iPhone and a new Xiaomi bet in the fore this month.

September got off to a strong start with the RED MAGIC 6S Pro launch, an ambitious and powerful gaming phone that we have tested at NiusGeek. But this month promises to be full of news in the mobile world. We tell you what they are:

Android 12 – This week?

This is a crucial week for Android 12 if we consider the Google calendar in other years: Android 11 on September 8 in 2020 and Android ten on September 6 in 2019.

Our editor Jesús Veliz has predicted that Android 12 will arrive on September 7 and has even bet an Amazon gift card in our Telegram group if it does not happen. Follow us!

In this note, we show you what Google has already been implementing in the public beta of Android 12.

Apple iPhone 13 – Potentially September 14

After the pandemic pushed Apple to hold its iPhone event in October, the iPhone 13 (it’s the most likely next-generation name) is expected to be unveiled in September.

The exact date? We are very close to finding out, but it is anticipated to be September 14, so invitations could be revealed on September 7.

The iPhone 13 family won’t see any big news yet, but it will see an upgrade to the much-lauded A14 chip.

Apple would finally adopt the high refreshment screens, at least in the iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max.

The negative? The semiconductor shortage will push Apple to raise the price of its cell phones and make fewer units available.

Xiaomi 11T Pro – September 15

What we do have confirmed is that Xiaomi will present its new 11T Pro globally. It is expected to arrive with the Xiaomi 11T.

It will be the first time Xiaomi presents cell phones without its classic “Mi” in the name.

It is confirmed that the Xiaomi 11T Pro will have an impressive 120W load.
