Back to the meeting: Zoom is restored after a global service outage

Multiple users have reported the fall of the Zoom service during the morning of this Tuesday.

The popular Zoom video call service is experiencing errors this Tuesday morning.

Multiple users report the app crash through Down Detector . In social networks like Twitter, the annoyance is shared.

According to users, the main problem reported in Zoom is to enter a video conference. The second most common problem is that of connecting to the servers, in addition to the fact that the operation of the service in general is completely down for many of them.

According to Zoom’s own status portal, the company has received a large number of reports about access to video calls from the web portal. “We are investigating the problem and will make updates when we have them,” they say.

Zoom , on your meter, ensures that the rest of the functions such as the desktop app, the video call rooms or the download center are working normally.

Internet crash in the morning

This same Tuesday morning, many internet pages went down due to a problem with Cloudflare , a company that provides protection against external attacks.

According to user reports, the full list of affected websites and services includes but is not limited to Amazon, Twitch, Amazon Web Services, Steam, Coinbase, Telegram, Discord, DoorDash, Gitlab, and more.

UPDATE: After a few minutes, and after Zoom detected the failure, the video call service has started to be restored. “We have resolved the issue that caused a subset of users to be unable to access the Zoom web portal. We will continue to monitor and provide updates as we have them ,” the system report states.
