Netflix has released the trailer for Beef – The clash , a series produced by A24 which will be released on April 6th on the online platform.
Steven Yeun ( The Walking Dead, Minari ) and Ali Wong ( Birds of Prey and the phantasmagoric rebirth of Harley Quinn, Paper Girls ) play Danny Cho and Amy Lau , respectively, who are feuding after a driving accident. As you can see, the tension between the two becomes increasingly high, with tragicomic consequences.
Beef will have its world premiere on March 18 at the SXSW Festival in Austin. The series was created by Lee Sung Jin , best known for It’s always sunny in Philadelphia, 2 Broke Girls, Girlboss and Dave .

Beef – The clash tells the aftermath of an accident between two strangers caused by rage at the wheel. Danny Cho (Steven Yeun) is a struggling small-time real estate developer who is blinded by a grudge against independent entrepreneur with a colorful life Amy Lau (Ali Wong). The ever-rising stakes of their feud turn their lives and relationships upside down in this deeply moving, darkly humorous series.

In addition to Steven Yeun and Ali Wong , the cast also includes David Choe, Young Mazino, Joseph Lee, Patti Yasutake, Maria Bello, Ashley Park, Justin H. Min, Andrew Santino, Rekstizzy, Mia Serafino, Remy Holt and Ione Skye .
Initially, the pilot episode was to be directed by Lee Isaac Chung , but the director of Minari was then replaced by Japan’s Hikari .
