“Is it true that you are signed up to be cryogenically preserved when you die so that one day you can be revived in the future?” the journalist asked.
“Yes, but I think it is more than anything an ideological pronouncement. (…) I don’t necessarily think it will work, but it’s the kind of thing one should try to do, ”he replied.
Thiel , 55, is one of Silicon Valley ‘s best-known investors after making his fortune as a co-founder of PayPal.
A dream that comes from years
Already in 2014, Peter Thiel told The Telegraph newspaper that he had plans to be cryogenized to be preserved after his death.
Thiel will entrust its preservation to the American biotechnology company Alcor.
