Film opens on July 29, 2022 in theaters.
One of the most anticipated films from the DC universe in theaters, “ Black Adam ” had a panel full of news during the DC Fandome – including a teaser introducing the character of Dwayne Johnson . Watch below:

The film focuses on the DC Comics character who was originally created as the hero’s enemy now known as Shazam. In later versions, Black Adam is described as a corrupt anti-hero who tries to clear his name.
The Justice Society is also part of the film, a group of heroes made up of Atom Crusher (Noah Centineo), Black Hawk (Aldis Hodge), Cyclone (Quintessa Swindell) and Lord Fate (Pierce Brosnan). The cast also features James Cusati-Moyer, Marwan Kenzari, Sarah Shahi, Mohammed Amer and Bodhi Sabongui in undisclosed roles.
Rory Haines and Sohrab Noshirvani (both from the “ Informer ” series ) write the latest version of the script, previously done by Adam Sztykiel (“ Rampage: Total Destruction ”). The film is directed by Jaume Collet-Serra, who worked with Dwayne Johnson on the as-yet-unreleased “Jungle Cruise” . Johnson, Dany Garcia and Hiram Garcia are the producers.
“Adão Negro” is scheduled to premiere on July 29, 2022 in theaters.
