Dwayne Johnson continues to post photos from the Black Adam set , but this time there is also an important announcement: the first trailer will arrive on June 8th .

In the shot in question, the former wrestler is portrayed on the steps at the base of Teth Adam ‘s throne , in stage costume. Here are his words:

The Throne of Black Adam

For the millions of you who know the mythology of Black Adam – you understand the significance and power of this throne.

I promised myself that I wouldn’t sit on it until we shot the scene where Black Adam earns the right to take his sacred place up there.
His throne is an important thing.

So I always put my big ass on the steps and did my homework.

We finally shot “the iconic moment”, and what a moment it was.

The worldwide debut of the BLACK ADAM trailer will take place on June 8th.

The American release of cinecomic has been postponed to next 21 October , so that the work on the visual effects can be completed with relative calm: the studies that deal with it are in fact full of commitments, especially due to the delays linked to the pandemic. so the times have lengthened (also for other blockbusters, as shown by the slippages of the last few months).

While waiting for the trailer, you can see the photos below.

Black Adam

The character of Teth Adam was created by Otto Binder and CC Beck in The Marvel Family # 1 (December 1945). He is a historical opponent of Captain Marvel and his family: he is an ancient Egyptian who was chosen by the wizard Shazam as his successor, but was corrupted by power and tried to use him to dominate the world. Over time, he has also been portrayed as an anti-hero.
