There was a lot of talk about the scene during the closing credits of Black Adam , which marked the return of Henry Cavill as Superman .
Well, some sources consulted by The Direct claim that a second scene was also shot, which was then excluded from the final edit.
If you’ve seen the movie, you know that Doctor Fate ( Pierce Brosnan ) sacrificed himself to fight Sabbac ( Marwan Kenzari ) and avoid Hawkman ‘s ( Aldis Hodge ) tragic fate . His helmet then disappeared after the latter used it in the final battle.
The scene in question is about Fate , as you can read in this description:
The short deleted scene takes place during the day in a desert setting. The opening shot shows an overview that starts from the ground and then reveals Doctor Fate’s helmet on top of the sand. A hand appears in the frame and grabs it, but the scene suddenly cuts to black before the identity of the mysterious individual is revealed.
If this scene was actually shot, we don’t know why the production decided to cut it: maybe DC didn’t want to sow too many clues about the possible return of Doctor Fate (or the Justice Society ), given that the plans for these characters are not. they are clear.
The cast
The cast includes Dwayne Johnson (protagonist Teth-Adam ), Noah Centineo ( Atom Smasher ), Aldis Hodge ( Hawkman ), Sarah Shahi ( Adrianna Tomaz ), Quintessa Swindell ( Cyclone ) and Pierce Brosnan ( Doctor Fate ), James Cusati-Moyer , Bodhi Sabongui , Mohammed Amer and Uli Latukefu . Marwan Kenzari is the Sabbac antagonist .
Direction and screenplay
The film is directed by Spaniard Jaume Collet-Serra ( Run All Night , Paradise Beach ). The screenplay is the work of Adam Sztykiel ( Childbirth with the Mad , Rampage: Animal Fury ).
