the first two episodes, followed by a new weekly episode, every Friday.
The series
Inspired by the crime memoir “In With The Devil: A Fallen Hero, A Serial Killer, and A Dangerous Bargain for Redemption” written by James Keene and Hillel Levin , Black Birdtells how Jimmy Keene (Taron Egerton) – a former high school football star, the son of a decorated cop who became a drug dealer sentenced to serve 10 years in prison – is given one last chance: to enter a general prison. safety where criminals are locked up and make friends with suspected serial killer Larry Hall (Paul Walter Hauser), or stay where he is and serve his entire sentence, without the possibility of parole. Jimmy soon realizes that the only way out of him is to get Larry a confession and find out where the bodies of the various girls killed are buried, before Hall’s appeal goes through. But is this suspected killer telling the truth or is he just another invention by a serial liar? This dramatic and compelling story subverts the crime genre by enlisting the help of the same people put behind bars to solve the mysteries.
In addition to Taron Egerton and Paul Walter Hauser , the cast also includes Sepideh Moafi, Greg Kinnear and Ray Liotta .
