Marvel Entertainment has released a new video that takes us behind the scenes of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever , recently nominated for four Academy Awards.

Among the categories in which he was also nominated for Best Special Effects, Langston Belton interviewed Geoffrey Baumann , the film’s visual effects supervisor. Baumann explains that Ryan Coogler wanted to shoot underwater as much as possible, as we can see in some interesting backstage scenes. Of course, in some cases VFX was used to simulate the ocean environment (the so -called dry-for-wet shots ).

It’s unlikely that the film will take home the statuette in the year of Avatar: The Runaway Water , but undoubtedly the special effects work was of great value.

You will find the video below.
