Blue Origi’s third manned flight will carry the daughter of the second man to go into space.
Blue Origin , after two successful space tourism missions, has announced that it will take Alan Shepard’s daughter off the planet.
Laura Shepard Churchley will fly into space alongside ‘Good Morning America’ co-host Michael Strahan, Voyager Space boss Dylan Taylor, engineer and investor Evan Dick, venture capitalist Lane Bess and their son Cameron Bess on the first mission with 6 passengers on December 9.
Laura Shepard, curiously, will fly in the New Shepard rocket , named for her father, the second man in the world to go into space and the fifth astronaut to walk on the Moon.

Flights, but not to the Moon
This flight number 19 New Shepard could be considered a consolation prize after demand failed to Blue Origin by the contract Lunar lander NASA SpaceX .
The launch is currently scheduled for 9 am Peru on December 9 and the live broadcast of Blue Origin will begin 90 minutes earlier.
The first manned flight of the New Shepard took place in July, sending Jeff Bezos, his brother Mark, Wally Funk and Oliver Daemen into space .
In October, the famous Captain Kirk from ‘Star Trek’, William Shatner , traveled with Audrey Powers, vice president of Blue Origin, Chris Boshuizen, co-founder of the satellite imagery company Planet; and Glen De Vries, an executive at the French healthcare software corporation Dassault Systèmes, on the second flight.
