At the end of the day the film grossed $32.27M (+96% from last Monday) in North America, sixth highest ever on Monday, the four-day weekend is $95.61M. The total rose to $293.29M, which is the third-best grosser of 2022 and the fourth-best grosser of the pandemic.
In international territories, it grossed $52.2M for a total of $661.9M, the second-best grosser of 2022 and third-best grosser during the pandemic.
France becomes the third world market overtaking South Korea, here James Cameron ‘s film surpassed 5 million admissions in two weeks, and became the second best-grossing film of 2022 after Top Gun: Maverick .
Key territories were: China ($104.5M), France ($60.5M), South Korea ($55.4M), Germany ($41.5M), India ($39.2M), UK ($33.1M), Mexico ($27.6M ), Australia ($22.8M), Italy ($21.8M) and Spain ($18.6M).
Monday’s global gross was $83.7M for a total of $955.1M.

Avatar 2 became only the ninth film to break the $100M mark at the global box office: $105.5M (or 11.4% of the total box office) was grossed on IMAX screens .
Since April 2019 this was the fastest film to achieve this.
The film is estimated to have grossed $3.7M in China from 89,000 screens, dominating 66.8% of the market, totaling $108.6M.
