Bridgerton ‘s second season arrives on Netflix today .

Bridgerton’s second season
The series will continue to adapt Julia Quinn ‘s books . The second is called The Viscount Who Loved Me , and focuses on the eldest of the Bridgerton brothers , Anthony ( Jonathan Bailey ), and his search for a wife. Simone Ashley will play Kate Sharma (Sheffield in the novels), Anthony ‘s romantic interest . Charithra Chandran ( Alex Rider ) will play Edwina , Kate ‘s younger sister , who first catches Anthony ‘s attention .
Rupert Young (Merlin, The Secret Garden ) will lend his face to Jack , a character created especially for the series. He is linked to one of the most prestigious families in the world, and also to an unspecified mystery.
Recall that Regé-Jean Page , the face of Simon Basset , will not return in the second season.
As we know, the Bridgerton saga will be with us for a long time. A second season is in the works and the third and fourth have already been confirmed . But that is not all.
A spin-off about Queen Charlotte is on the way
In fact, the next production of a spin-off has also been announced, focusing on the past of Queen Charlotte , played by Golda Rosheuvel .
The limited series will be written and produced by Shonda Rhimes, Betsy Beers and Tom Verica , and it has been confirmed that characters such as Violet Bridgerton and Lady Danbury will return to the project.
