Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II will hit the market in October

Activision Blizzard unveiled a new trailer for the upcoming Call of Duty with the original release date.

The new annual installment of Call of Duty , Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II , will hit the market on October 28.

The sequel to the 2019 game showed a new preview, where we are shown more than anything else the faces of the protagonists: Captain Price, Gaz, Soap, Alejandro (colonel of Mexican special forces) and Ghost.

At the end of the images, the worldwide release date is revealed to us.

In the video you can see a sticker that says J-8-22, which can mean June 8, 2022, the days when the Summer Game Fest will take place, a video game event where we could see the gameplay for the first time.

What will the new Call of Duty bring ?

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II will be the sequel to the hit game released in 2019. The story should follow Captain Price creating Task Force 141, as we saw at the end of the first game.

According to Activision, the sequel to Modern Warfare will be “the most advanced experience in the history of the franchise.”

What platforms will it be released on?

At the moment, the platforms on which the game will be released are not known, but it should be confirmed for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, in addition to PC. The versions still in doubt would be the PS4 and Xbox One.

Fortunately for the game, a second Warzone game is supposed to accompany it, with a “new free online title” coming in 2023, according to Bloomberg .
