Sony Pictures today presents an unreleased clip from The Woman King.
The new film with Viola Davis soon in theaters. The title of the clip is “Izogie Standoff”, referring to the character played by Lashana Lynch.
Apple has released the trailer for Causeway , the film directed by Lila Neugebauer , here making her feature debut, starring Jennifer Lawrence , as a soldier struggling to readjust to his life after returning home to New Orleans.
The film will arrive on Apple TV + on November 4 but will first be presented in competition at the Rome Film Fest.

Lynsey is a military engineer who returned to the United States from Afghanistan with a debilitating brain injury following a bomb explosion. In recovery, which is slow and painful, he must re-learn to walk and retrain his memory aided by a chatty but tender caretaker. When he returns home to New Orleans, however, he is faced with even more distressing and challenging memories than he experienced while on duty: a showdown with his childhood.
Left with her mother, with whom she has a strained relationship, Lynsey just wants to go back to her job as an engineer, but her doctor is wary and so, in the meantime, she gets a job as a pool cleaner. When her pickup truck breaks down, she meets James Aucoin, who works in a garage and offers her a ride home; slowly the two begin to rely on each other for companionship and comfort, and Lynsey discovers that James is also repressing the traumas of her past.
The budding friendship between these two damaged souls forms the center and heart of Lila Neugebauer’s first feature film: a quiet, yet devastating, and above all uplifting story about coming to terms with oneself and moving forward.
The cast also includes Brian Tyree Henry, Linda Emond, Stephen McKinley Henderson, Russell Harvard, Jayne Houdyshell, Joshua Hull as Security Contractor, Fred Weller, Sean Carvajal, Will Pullen and Neal Huff .
