The Xiaomi 12S marked the first launch of the second part of the year.
Xiaomi officially kicked off the second half of the year with the launch of its Xiaomi 12S , the start of its collaboration with Leica . A very attractive line, but apparently it will not come out of China.
iPhone 14: the death of the little one in the family and a higher price
Whether we’re iOS fans or not, we can’t deny that the launch of the next iPhone marks the second half of the year for the mobile market.
Let’s remember: Apple has started trends like disappearing the headphone jack or removing chargers from boxes.
This generation of iPhone may be one of the ones that introduces the most changes.
The iPhone mini is expected to disappear after failing to achieve expected sales, with the iPhone 14 starting at $799 and climbing the fence to get the “cheapest” new iPhone by nearly $200.
A new iPhone 14 Max model would give us 6.7”, just like the iPhone 14 Pro Max . The already known iPhone 14 Pro would make up the new generation, which would differentiate the Pro models by having a better chip.
Although the European Union has fought for the USB-C connector to reach the iPhone , it seems that this generation will not make the expected change.
Samsung maturing foldable cell phones
The Galaxy ZFlip 3 and Galaxy ZFold 3 have shown how Samsung has managed to dispel the main doubts regarding folding phones.
The latest generation has even been water and dust resistant, providing greater guarantees on its durability after the bumpy launch of the original Galaxy Fold in 2019.
Are there pending tasks? Of course. Even the crease in the screen leaves marks with some brands proposing some answers, which surely Samsung has taken into account.
Also, you need an operating system and apps that get more out of folding phones. This, obviously, also depends on Google itself with Android and other developers.
Possible date: the Galaxy Unpack of the Samsung foldables have taken August, the month that previously belonged to the Galaxy Note.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 12: Now a jump to the mid-range?
When reviewing the recent generation of the Redmi Note 11 , we noticed something: good cell phones, but they do not mark a dramatic jump compared to what was seen in the Redmi Note 10 .
And we don’t just mean Xiaomi . In general, it seems that the mid- range in 2022 has been left in debt so far.
