CENTRAL PARK: THE NEW EPISODES FROM MARCH 4 ON APPLE TV +

The acclaimed animated musical comedy, will return with eight brand new episodes on March 4 on the streaming platform. From creators, writers and executive producers Loren Bouchard, Josh Gad and Nora Smith , the second season of the series returns with three new episodes, followed by a new weekly episode every Friday, through April 8.

Central Park boasts a famous cast of “voices” including Josh Gad, Leslie Odom Jr., Daveed Diggs, Emmy Raver-Lampman, Kathryn Hahn, Tituss Burgess and Stanley Tucci . New guest stars featured this season include Aparna Nancherla, Billy Porter, Catherine O’Hara, Ellie Kemper and Naomi Ekperigin .

In the clip, which shows the first images of this second half of the season, Josh Gad and Rory O’Malley reunite for a captivating musical performance, entitled “You are the Music”. The song is written by Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez featuring Tituss Burgess and Emmy Raver-Lampman .

The plot of the second season

In the second season of Central Park , the Tillerman family continues to take care of the most famous park in the world. Molly experiences the trials and tribulations of adolescence, Cole is challenged by a truly awkward time at school, Paige continues to chase the mayor’s story of corruption, and Owen juggles the management of the park, his staff and his family, the all always with a smile on his face. Meanwhile, Bitsy gets closer and closer to her sinister goal of reclaiming the Central Park property, with Helen by her side always wondering whether or not Bitsy put it in her will or not. Accompanying us will be the funny and clumsy violinist and storyteller Birdie.

Since its debut, the series has received Emmy Award nominations for Leslie Odom Jr., Tituss Burgess and Stanley Tucci and an NAACP Image Award nomination in the Outstanding Animated Series category.
