The synopsis describes: We learn about the history of the Madrigals, an extraordinary family that lives hidden in the mountains of Colombia, in a magical house, in a vibrant city, in a wonderful place known as an Enchantment. The magic of this Enchantment has blessed all the boys and girls in the family with a unique gift, from super strength to the power to heal. Everyone except Mirabel (voice of Stephanie Beatriz). But when she discovers that the magic surrounding the Enchantment is in jeopardy, Mirabel decides that she, the only Madrigal without magical powers, may be her exceptional family’s last hope.
The voice cast also includes María Cecilia Botero, Wilmer Valderrama, Adassa, Diane Guerrero, Mauro Castillo, Angie Cepeda, Jessica Darrow, Rhenzy Feliz and Carolina Gaitán.
The animation features new songs by Lin-Manuel Miranda, an Oscar-nominated composer for his work on “Moana” , and creator of “Hamilton” . Directing by Byron Howard and Jared Bush, both of “Zootopia” , co-directed by Charise Castro Smith. Bush and Smith also script, along with Miranda. Clark Spencer and Yvett Merino produce.
