Chinese state media confirms the discovery of an ‘unidentified flying object’ in the east of the country

The state media The Global Times has confirmed the discovery of the unidentified flying object ( UFO ) in the Chinese province of Shandong.

The local army will take it down in the next few hours.

The authorities of the Chinese province of Shandong, in the east of the country, have announced the finding of an unidentified flying object ( UFO )  near the coast, in the midst of preparations for its shooting down.

Specifically, this object has been located in the waters of the Yellow Sea, near the coast of the city of Rizhao, according to the provincial maritime authorities in a statement collected by the Chinese international state newspaper ‘Global Times’.

Sparse details, but start-up

The Chinese Army, according to the note, is preparing to shoot down the object. The authorities ask the fishermen in the area to adopt the necessary protection measures.

Outside of this Chinese government report, there is no other third-party confirmation of this incident and/or if it is ongoing.

This announcement takes place in the midst of the “balloon crisis”, which began after the discovery of an alleged Chinese spy balloon over US territory , later shot down, followed by more sightings and a last shot down this Sunday of another object after its identification in Canada .

The development comes after the United States and Canada shot down three high-altitude aerial objects in recent days. An American fighter jet, acting on orders from US President Joe Biden and Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, shot down another unidentified flying object, also called UFOs, on Saturday.
