Coinbase partners with Mastercard and will allow to buy NFT

Coinbase 1 customers will be able to use Mastercard credit or debit cards to make purchases in the  crypto company’s upcoming NFT marketplace.

Mastercard is partnering with cryptocurrency exchange platform Coinbase to facilitate NFT purchases in an upcoming marketplace. This alliance will allow users to purchase non-fungible tokens with Mastercard cardson Coinbase ‘s upcoming NFT marketplace . With this move, companies hope to make NFT purchases simpler, just like on any e- commerce site .

“We are working to make NFTs more accessible because we believe the technology needs to be inclusive ,” Raj Dhamodharan, Mastercard’s executive vice president in charge of digital assets and blockchain partnerships, said in a statement. “When you include more people in new technologies, you spur innovation, help economies grow and expand choices for consumers.”

More crypto associations

Mastercard , one of the world’s largest credit card and payment companies, is creating more and more crypto partnerships.

For example, in October of last year, Mastercard announced its partnership with Bakkt to allow banks and merchants in its network to offer services with bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies.

Coinbase reports that its NFT marketplace , where artwork , music, and even tweets whose authenticity has been certified on the blockchain will be sold , is coming soon.
