Creed III , the new chapter of the Rocky spin-off saga directed byMichael B. Jordan, has been postponed for just over three months, from November 23, 2022 to March 3, 2023.
MGM recently put Drago , another spin-off that is expected to focus on Ivan Drago ( Dolph Lundgren ) and his son Viktor ( Florian Munteanu ), Creed II antagonist.
The Creed saga
Released in 2015 and directed by Ryan Coogler , the first Creed grossed more than $ 100 million in the United States and gave Sylvester Stallone the Golden Globe and Oscar nomination for Best Supporting Actor. In 2018, Creed II was directed by Steven Caple Jr. and repeated the success of the previous spin-off.
Creed III will hit American theaters on Thanksgiving weekend 2022.
No Rocky Balboa
As we know, Rocky Balboa will not return in Creed III . At the end of Creed 2 , after Adonis’ victory, we saw Rocky knock on the door of his son Robert, to hug him again and meet the grandson he had never seen. The story of him ends like this, then. We still don’t know if more details about his fate will be revealed in the third chapter.
