Deadline reports that Arty Froushan has joined the cast of Daredevil: Born Again.

Froushan , however, appeared in a photo from the set alongside Vincent D’Onofrio , aka Wilson Fisk / Kingpin . The American actor, best known for House of the Dragon and Carnival Row , would appear to be playing a collaborator of Fisk … Maybe an executive of his campaign? There’s a rumor that the Kingpin is running for mayor of New York City, so it’s possible.
In this regard, The Cosmic Circus publishes an interesting rumor: according to its sources, the Kingpin ‘s race to conquer the Big Apple will begin in Echo , and will unfold along numerous projects of the Marvel Cinematic Universe , making itself felt also in the future Spider-Man 4 . The direct or indirect effects of his plan – which seems to draw inspiration from the Dark Reign of the comics – will therefore reverberate through various films and TV series. Not surprisingly, much of his electoral campaign would be based on the promise to eradicate the vigilante problem from New York, and at the top of his list would be Hawkeye, Kate Bishop, Daredevil andSpider Man .
If these rumors are confirmed by the facts, the Kingpin ‘s actions could give rise to a “mini-saga” that will unite the more earthy side of the MCU , composed of characters who act at the street level. We’ll see. However, we know the focal point of the show will still be “ Daredevil vs. Kingpin ”; despite the title, the plot will deviate from the homonymous miniseries by Frank Miller and David Mazzucchelli . The release is expected for 2024 on Disney+ , with 18 episodes.

The return of Daredevil
Charlie Cox ‘s Matt Murdock famously made a cameo in Spider-Man: No Way Home , which marked his official MCU debut ; as we know, Matt had a role in She-Hulk as well . As for Vincent D’Onofrio ‘s Kingpin , we found him again in the Hawkeye ending . Both will return in the Echo series , as well as Daredevil: Born Again .

Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio will once again play Matt Murdock / Daredevil and Wilson Fisk / Kingpin . Also starring James Gandolfini , Margarita Levieva , Sandrine Holt ( Vanessa Fisk ), Nikki M. James and Jon Bernthal ( Frank Castle / Punisher ).
