Deadline reports that Clark Johnson will have a recurring role in Daredevil: Born Again , where he will play a character called Cherry .
We have no idea who he is, but it’s possible it’s a fake name used by Marvel Studios to mislead fans.
Johnson will also direct two episodes of the series. His directing credits include various films, including SWAT and The Sentinel , and numerous television shows such as Copper, The Walking Dead, Homeland, Luke Cage, Your Honor, Black Sails, The Good Fight and Love & Death . As an actor, he boasts a 40-year career spanning many films and TV series, although his most famous role is probably that of Augustus “Gus” Haynes in The Wire .
Meanwhile, filming continues during the writers’ strike , despite the blockade of some protesters a few days ago. Recently, we saw some set photos with Vincent D’Onofrio ( Wilson Fisk/Kingpin ) and Sandrine Holt ( Vanessa Fisk ).
It is known that the focal point will still be “ Daredevil vs. Kingpin “, but the plot will deviate from the miniseries Rebirth by Frank Miller and David Mazzucchelli , with which it shares the title. The return of Daredevil
Charlie Cox ‘s Matt Murdock famously made a cameo in Spider-Man: No Way Home , which marked his official MCU debut ; as we know, Matt had a role in She-Hulk as well . As for Vincent D’Onofrio ‘s Kingpin , we found him again in the Hawkeye ending . Both will return in the Echo series , as well as Daredevil: Born Again .
