As we know, the cinematic adventure of Deadpool will continue with a third chapter, which will see the return of Ryan Reynolds in the role of the “chatty mercenary”.
It seems that the film has finally found a director: it is Shawn Levy , who has previously collaborated with Reynolds on Free Guy and The Adam Project , recently available on Netflix . According to what was reported by the Hollywood Reporter , the director would be in final negotiations, but judging by this image published by the actor on Instagram, there seems to be no more doubts. The screenplay will be edited by Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick .

Deadpool in the MCU?
Last year, Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige spoke about the film, confirming that it will always be Rating R and will also be part of the MCU:
It will be Rating R, we are working on the script right now and Ryan is overseeing the work. Filming will not begin this year. Ryan is a very busy and very successful actor. There are other things we have announced that we need to do first, but it is exciting that the work has begun. Again, a very different character enters the MCU and Ryan is a force of nature. It’s just awesome to see him bring that character to life.
