For the fourth time, South Korean director Park Chan-wook will present one of his films in world premiere at the Cannes Film Festival (17 to 28 May)
We’re talking about Decision to Leave ( Heojil Kyolshim ), a crime thriller with a romantic twist co-written by Park Chan-wook and Chung Seo-Kyung . Here is the new trailer:

The synopsis:
A man falls from the top of a mountain and dies. The detective in charge, Hae-joon (PARK Hae-il), goes to meet the dead man’s wife, Seo-rae (TANG Wei).
“I worry when he doesn’t come back from the mountain, thinking she might eventually die.”
Seo-rae shows no signs of agitation over her husband’s death. With her behavior so different from that of a grieving relative, the police consider her a suspect. Hae-joon questions Seo-rae, and as he watches her during her stalking, he feels he is slowly developing an interest in her.
Meanwhile the difficult to read Seo-rae, despite being suspected of a crime, acts bravely towards Hae-joon.
A suspect who hides her true feelings. A detective who suspects and desires her suspicion. Their decision to leave.
