Disney + starred at Lucca Comics & Games 2022 with the Lucasfilm Andor series.

Denise Gough was the protagonist of a meeting at the Cinema Astra in Lucca with the passionate fans of the series who had the opportunity to see episode 8 and some preview clips of episode 9 of Andor. At the end of the meeting, Denise Gough took a selfie from the stage with the audience and was welcomed on the red carpet at the exit of the cinema by the official Star Wars Costuming fan groups.
The actors of Willow – the series, Erin Kellyman, Ellie Bamber and Amar Chadha-Patel, also attended an audience meeting at Cinema Astra and answered numerous questions from fans, which they had the opportunity to see in preview the first images of the series. The three actors also visited some iconic places in Lucca, such as the Guinigi Tower and the Sortie of the Baluardo San Paolino, as well as the area dedicated to Willow – the series in The Walt Disney Company Italia pavilion in Piazza San Michele.
Andor, a Lucasfilm spy thriller series consisting of two seasons of 12 episodes each, takes place five years before the events of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. The era described in Andor is full of dangers, deceptions and intrigues, in which Cassian will embark on the path destined to transform him into a rebellious hero. Andor explores a new perspective on the Star Wars galaxy, focusing on ordinary people whose lives are under the influence of the Empire. The decisions they make have real consequences and the stakes for them and the galaxy couldn’t be higher.
The series stars Diego Luna, Genevieve O’Reilly, Stellan Skarsgård, Forest Whitaker, Adria Arjona, Denise Gough, Kyle Soller, Fiona Shaw and Faye Marsay. Toby Haynes, Susanna White and Benjamin Caron directed some episodes of the series, while Kathleen Kennedy, Tony Gilroy, Sanne Wohlenberg, Diego Luna and Michelle Rejwan are the executive producers. Tony Gilroy is also the creator and showrunner.

Willow – the series is a brand new sequel series based on the 1988 fantasy adventure film created by George Lucas. The sorcerer Nelwyn returns, years after saving the newborn Empress Elora Danan, to lead an unlikely group of heroes on a mission to discover a world beyond imagination. Willow – The series sees the return of Warwick Davis in the title role, with Kathleen Kennedy, Michelle Rejwan, Jonathan Kasdan, Tommy Harper, Wendy Mericle, Roopesh Parekh, Ron Howard and Samie Kim Falvey as executive producer.
