DOCTOR STRANGE 2 – A NEW POSTER AND THE SCREENX COMMERCIAL

We have already seen numerous Doctor Strange commercials in the multiverse of madness.

But this time there is a peculiarity: the latest promo is in fact by ScreenX, multi-projection technology that surrounds the audience with three screens, at 270 degrees. The “expanded” images allow us to see some unedited details, such as a more complete view of Patrick Stewart ‘s Professor X (always from behind, of course).

There is also an evocative poster made by BossLogic , in which we can see Stephen Strange ( Benedict Cumberbatch ) grappling with the fragmentation of the multiverse.

In recent weeks we have found that the duration will be equal to 129 minutes, and that the film hides more surprises than Infinity War , Endgame and No Way Home . The release in Italian cinemas is expected on May 4th . Starting from that date, in Milan it will be possible to visit the Marvel Multiverse Experience .

You will find the commercial and the poster below.

[UPDATE]
There is also a second poster made by BossLogic , with Strange Supreme taking center stage.

The synopsis of Doctor Strange 2

After the events of Avengers: Endgame , Dr. Stephen Strange continues his search for the Time Stone. But an old friend turned enemy intends to destroy every sorcerer on Earth, ruining Strange’s plans and pushing him to unintentionally unleash an unmentionable evil.

The cast

Benedict Cumberbatch will return as Stephen Strange , the Sorcerer Supreme, and will again be accompanied by Benedict Wong ( Wong ) and Rachel McAdams ( Christine Palmer ). Chiwetel Ejiofor will return as Baron Mordo , while it has already been confirmed that Scarlet ( Elizabeth Olsen ) will be there. The cast also includes Xochitl Gomez ( America Chavez ), Adam Hugill ( Rintrah ) and Yenifer Molina ( Gargantos ).

The direction

Scott Derrickson left due to creative differences with Marvel Studios , and the direction was then entrusted to the great Sam Raimi , pioneer of the cinecomics of the 2000s with his Spider-Man .

The screenplay

The screenplay was entrusted to Michael Waldron , Loki ‘s showrunner : it seems that the cinecomic will have ties to the series, but will also be connected to WandaVision , and in fact Scarlet will appear in the film.
