Tim Blake Nelson (Pinocchio, Cabinet of Curiosities) has also joined the cast of Dune: Part Two.
the sequel directed by Denis Villeneuve which adapts the second part of the novel by Frank Herbert . No details were given about his role.
Filming began last July. The crew shot in Budapest (in the studio), Abu Dhabi, Jordan and at the Brion Tomb, in the province of Treviso .
The synopsis
This sequel will explore the mythic journey of Paul Atreides as he joins Chani and the Fremen on a path of vengeance against the conspirators who destroyed his family. Faced with the choice between the love of his life and the fate of the known universe, Paul tries to prevent a terrible future that only he can foresee.
Villeneuve has previously stated that the Harkonnens will play a bigger role in the second part.
The cast
The new entries are: Florence Pugh (Princess Irulan), Souheila Yacoub (Shishakli), Léa Seydoux (Lady Margot), Christopher Walken (Galactic Emperor Shaddam IV) and Austin Butler (Feyd-Rautha).
Confirmed the return of Timothée Chalamet (Paul Atreides), Zendaya (Chani), Rebecca Ferguson (Jessica Atreides), Stellan Skarsgård (Baron Vladimir Harkonnen), Dave Bautista (Count Glossu Rabban Harkonnen), Javier Bardem (Stilgar) and Josh Brolin (Gurney Halleck), Charlotte Rampling (Bene Gesserit Reverend Mother Mohiam), Stephen McKinley Henderson (Thufir Hawat).
Denis Villeneuve co-writer of the film with Jon Spaihts is also the director and producer.
