DUNGEONS & DRAGONS: PARAMOUNT+ HAS OFFICIALLY ORDERED THE SERIES

Paramount+ has officially ordered the series of Dungeons & Dragons.

the one that will be supervised by Rawson Marshall Thurber ( Red Notice, Skyscraper ) and of which we had already spoken .

The project was being developed by eOne, the film and television division of Hasbro (which Hasbro is now attempting to sell), who then pitched it to several distributors in November. Paramount+ in the end had the upper hand, and so the saga remains in the house: Paramount Pictures has in fact co-produced the film Dungeons & Dragons: Honor among thieves , arriving on March 30th.

Rawson Marshall Thurber wrote and will direct the first episode of the series. There are currently no details on the premise, or if it will have any connection to Honor Among Thieves ( you can watch the trailer HERE ).

Thurber directed Red Notice , the film with Dwayne Johnson, Ryan Reynolds and Gal Gadot became the most watched ever on Netflix. He also recently sold Amazon a project for a Voltron adaptation , which he will direct and is co-writing with Ellen Shanman .

A true fan

Rawson Marshall Thurber is a super-fan of the role-playing game, and he revealed it with a comment tweet on the news of his engagement:
