A new video takes us to the discovery of Elemental , the Disney and Pixar film arriving on June 21 in Italian cinemas.
Elemental is set in Element City where the elements – Fire, Water, Earth and Air – live together. The story introduces Ember, a tenacious, sharp, and “ardent” young woman, whose friendship with a funny, cheesy, “going with the flow” boy named Wade challenges her beliefs about the world they live in.
In the Italian version of the film, Valentina Romani lends her voice as Ember, a brilliant girl from Fuoco in her twenties with a great sense of humor who loves her family but can sometimes catch fire easily; Stefano De Martino as Wade, an attentive and empathetic 20-year-old from Acqua who isn’t afraid to show his emotions, which are hard to miss; Serra Yilmaz as Ember’s mom Cinder; and Hal Yamanouchi as Ember’s soon-to-retire father, Bernie.
Elemental is directed by Peter Sohn and produced by Denise Ream pga, with Pete Docter serving as executive producer. The screenplay is by John Hoberg & Kat Likkel and Brenda Hsueh , with a story by Sohn, Hoberg & Likkel and Hsueh. The film’s original score was composed and conducted by Thomas Newman .
The film will arrive in Italian cinemas together with the new Pixar short film Carl’s Appointment .
