The teaser trailer for Elemental the new film written and directed by Peter Sohn (The Journey of Arlo) is a bit atypical.
In when it shows one of the scenes from the film: the meeting between the two protagonists Ember & Wade voiced by Leah Lewis and Mamoudou Athie respectively .

The plot
An original feature film set in Element City, where the inhabitants of fire, water, earth and air live together.
The film introduces Ember, a tenacious, sharp, and “ardent” young woman, whose friendship with a funny, cheesy, “going with the flow” boy named Wade challenges her beliefs about the world they live in.Produced by Denise Ream (Cars 2, Journey of Arlo), Elemental is an original work inspired by the director’s childhood. The film has been described as a mix between Inside Out and Zootopia as is immediately evident in this teaser.
The Disney-Pixar film will debut in US theaters on June 16, 2023 and in Italian ones in 2023 .
