Elon Musk has spoken again about Twitter  after the pause of his purchase and has affirmed that the algorithm that governs it “manipulates its users”.

The eccentric millionaire opened a thread on Twitter (curiously) pointing out the problems that the social network needs to improve for users .

In the posts, Elon Musk asked his 93 million followers to change Twitter ‘s customization from “algorithmic feed” to “latest posts.”

According to the CEO of Tesla, “we are being manipulated by the algorithm in ways you don’t realize.”

Jack Dorsey answers him

His friend Jack Dorsey, founder of Twitter, however, did not remain silent in the face of Elon Musk ‘s attack and replied to the publication.

“[This feed] was designed simply to save you time when you’re away from the app for a while. Swiping down [on the mobile app] to refresh also goes back to the reverse timeline,” he said.

To this, Musk replied again: “I’m not suggesting [there is] malice in the algorithm, but rather that it is trying to guess what you might want to read, and in doing so inadvertently manipulates/amplifies your views without you realizing it.” that this is happening.”

Likewise, Elon Musk called for Twitter to become “open source” in order to check for possible errors and find quick solutions to problems.

Musk has put the $44 billion purchase on hold because he wants details about the proportion of fake accounts on the platform .
