Finally! Watch the first trailer for the Y: The Last Man series

The Y: The Last Man series is already a reality, and we finally have a trailer to prove it. After a long development process and several complications in its production, this Thursday, FX finally released the first trailer for the long-awaited adaptation of the excellent comic by Brian K. Vaughn and Pia Guerra.

If you are not familiar with the history of Y: The Last Man, this trailer lays down all the bases you need to know, and that is that, as a result of a mysterious plague, all living beings with the Y chromosome die suddenly.

However, as women begin to take over the world believing that there are no longer men or boys, only two mammals with the Y chromosome have survived: a young man named Yorick Brown and his monkey Ampersand.

Of course, the survival of both is striking, so although Yorick ventures out on his love mission in the comics, this trailer clarifies that the road will be full of challenges and obstacles.

Without further ado, you can check out the first trailer for the Y: The Last Man series here:

The Y: The Last Man series will star Ben Schnetzer as Yorick Brown, Diane Lane as Jennifer Brown (Senator and Yorick’s mother), Olivia Thirlby as Hero (Yorick’s sister), Amber Tamblyn as Kimberly Cunningham, Marin Ireland as Nora.
