The gamer brand Asus , ROG , just debuted at CES 2022 by presenting its first removable laptop games.
Asus ROG has just unveiled its new detachable gaming laptop called Flow Z13 , plus an update to the ROG Flow X13 2-in-1 laptop.
These two laptops are scheduled to launch sometime in the first or second quarter of 2022. However, during the event they have not revealed any prices for their featured products. We will know this as the launch approaches.
ROG Flow Z13 and Flow X13
Both laptops have similar specs, with the exception that one is detachable and the other is 2-in-1. The two gaming laptops can be configured with an Nvidia RTX 3050 Ti GPU and are compatible with XG Mobile, allowing you to configure up to an RTX 3080 GPU .
The difference between these two laptops is the CPU. The Z13 can be configured with the new Intel Core i9-12900H , while the X13 can be equipped with the new AMD Ryzen 9 CPU from the 6000 family.
Additionally, the Z13 can be configured with up to 16GB of 5200mHz LPDDR5 RAM and up to a 1TB PCIe SSD, while the X13 goes up to 32GB RAM and a 1TB SSD.
Regarding the display, the Z13 and X13 can be configured with a 16:10 4k panel with a 60Hz refresh rate or a 1080p panel with 120Hz .
The new version X13 2022 now offers more ports, including a USB Type-C, USB Type-A, HDMI 2.0 and headphone jack. The Z13 comes with only one USB Type-A port, one 3.5mm jack, and one USB Type-C port.
