The science fiction and alternate history series created by Ronald D. Moore, Ben Nedivi and Matt Wolpert , for a fourth season. The news was given during the series panel at San Diego Comic-Con , which was attended by writers, executive producer Maril Davis and stars Joel Kinnaman (Ed Baldwin), Krys Marshall (Danielle Poole), Shantel VanSanten (Karen Baldwin), Wrenn Schmidt (Margo Madison), Edi Gathegi (Dev Ayesa), Coral Peña (Aleida Rosales), Jodi Balfour (Ellen Wilson),Casey Johnson (Danny Stevens), Sonya Walger (Molly Cobb) and Cynthy Wu (Kelly Baldwin).

Ron Moore told Deadline :

I am happy that we can continue this fantastic story. From the beginning I hoped it would be a long journey, lasting several years. It is gratifying to see what we have done and I can’t wait to see what we can do in the future.

Ben Nedivi added:

The reaction to season 3 has been incredible. I am happy that Apple is giving us this opportunity to continue telling our story. Ron, Matt and I have always had a long-term plan for the series, and the more we dive into our alternate history, the more audiences will begin to see that vision come true.

As has already happened in the past, between the third and fourth season of For All Mankind there will be a further time jump: from the mid-90s we will arrive at the 21st Century.

For All Mankind Season 3 concludes July 29 on Apple TV +.
