GERONIMO STILTON: AN ANIMATED FILM IS COMING FROM THE DIRECTOR OF CAPTAIN UNDERPANTS

Radar Pictures has acquired the film rights to Geronimo Stilton.

the acclaimed series of children’s books and comics created by Elisabetta Dami . David Soren , director of Captain Underpants and Turbo , will write and direct the animated film.

Geronimo Stilton, a journalist rat who investigates and solves cases, was born in 1997 and has since been featured in over 300 books, translated into over 50 languages, as well as graphic novels, an animated series, video games, games and eight theatrical productions. The books have sold over 180 million copies in 150 countries.

The film will be co-produced by Radar Pictures and Atlantyca Entertainment, the Milan-based company that handles the franchise’s international rights, and also co-produced the animated series.
