Ghostbusters: Legacy has just made its entry in cinemas, continuing the saga of the Ghost buster slaunched in the 80s and become a real cult for generations of viewers.
Also this film, continuing what is now a tradition for blockbusters, has scenes in the credits. Two scenes, to be precise, dedicated mainly to fans.

The post-credit scenes from Ghostbusters: Legacy

Both scenes concern the old Ghostbusters , who as we know return in the third act of the film (aided by a spirit version of Dr. Egon Spengler, played by the late Harold Ramis in the first two films of the saga and in the third chapter by Oliver Cooper, whose face was edited in post-production).
Well, in the mid credit scene we see Bill Murray in the role of Dr. Peter Venkman, with him Sigourney Weaver in the role of Dana Barrett. We discover that the two are now married and she enjoys “torturing” her partner with an old experiment that he himself performed on poor students when he was a university researcher.
The reference is to this scene, present in the first film.

The second scene also connects directly to the first film, showing a fragment not present in the film version in which Janine Melnitz (Annie Potts) gives Egon (Harold Ramis) a coin, a souvenir from the 1964 Universal Exposition.

Immediately after there is a time jump, Janine is talking to Winston Zeddemore (Ernie Hudson). It turns out that Zeddemore is now a wealthy family man. Once the adventure with his fellow Ghostbusters was over, he started his own business and managed to make a fortune. But he hasn’t forgotten his friends: he continues to financially support Ray’s occult library (Occultoteca) and the firehouse that was once the headquarters of the Ghostbusters is his property. In the last seconds we see him while he parks the Ecto-1 inside and immediately afterwards the Containment Unit inside which the captured ghosts were trapped is framed. It is still functional and is flashing.

This is a moment that sets the stage for a possible sequel and director Jason Reitman has already said he is ready to make a new chapter in the saga.
